Oppo Reno15 FS official: monster battery and finally sharp selfies
The Reno15 FS 5G has appeared on Oppo's Polish website. The device looks very similar to its predecessor on paper and in pictures. However, those who take a closer look will see a game changer that will change your selfies forever.
Of course, the new Oppo Reno15 FS 5G runs on the latest ColorOS version and Android 16. At the back is the same triple camera system and the screen is also unchanged. But don't call the Reno15 FS 5G the same as the Reno14 FS 5G. In fact, it has a much better selfie camera.
From 32 to 50 megapixels: a giant leap
So the resolution goes up from 32 to 50MP and the angle of view from 90 to 100°. What's in it for you? It lets you shoot much sharper selfies and fit more of your friends in the frame. Also, from now on, you shoot video in the higher 4K resolution. That's exactly 4x sharper than Full HD (1080). As a result, your selfie videos look sharper and contain more detail.
Special in this price range: the selfie camera has autofocus. Where the competition often has a "fixed" focus (out of focus if you get too close), the Reno15 FS always focuses on your face.
Virtually the entire Oppo Reno15 Series now features a selfie camera with autofocus. So does the Reno15 F. As a result, Oppo seems to be targeting vain photographers in particular with this series.
Battery life monster: 6500 mAh AND 80W fast charging
Oppo gives the battery capacity a big boost to 6500 mAh. That's almost 10% more than its predecessor: count on easily two days without looking for an outlet. Charging has also become much faster. You can now charge the device with up to 80W, allowing you to be back on the road for hours in minutes.
We expect the Oppo Reno15 FS 5G to hit stores soon in Aurora Blue and Twilight Blue colors. Both colors come with 8+512GB of storage which is enough for 20 hours of 4K videos. Oppo is charging converted €450 for one abroad.
With this, Oppo opens the attack in the upper mid-range segment. This makes it a louse to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 with a larger battery and more extensive camera package.
