Newgen has shown five new devices at 3GSM, which contain 1.3 mpixel cameras, 262.000 colour screens and different formfactors.
The five new devices can be divided into two segments; Tri-band phones and Dual-band phones. Within these segments four of the devices are new touchscreen based devices with handwriting recognition and one has a slider based formfactor. Let's discuss these new Newgen mobile phones.

C1000
Newgen showed the world a new touchscreen based device that has the ability to rotate the screen and hold it like a videocamera. The 1.3 mpixelcamera with camcorder function gives the user the possibility to shoot new videos and pictures quite easily. Furthermore there are specifications we can expect in devices nowadays.
S1000
The second slider from the company is the new S1000. The device does not have a touchscreen based screen, but contains all the specifications of the other devices discussed here. An extra feature is the appearance of Bluetooth in the device.
U1000
The last new tri-band device is the U1000, which is a touchscreen based device with similiar specifications to the C1000. No special specifications are build in, only the TransFlash card slot appeared in this device.
T1200
The T1200 is the direct successor of the T1100 and the changes between the two are the new 1.3 mpixel camera, the available PC Sync, stereo speakers and MP3 & MP4 player. The T1200 (and also the T1300) were expanded on these new features.
T1300
The new T1300 is the same device as the T1200 but differs with respect to the T1300 on the looks of the device and the rotating camera.
