POCO shows its first flagships: F7 Pro and F7 Ultra
POCO, a subsidiary brand of Xiaomi, is known for competitively priced smartphones that have quite a lot going for them. POCO has phones in its range from 100 to 449 euros and everything in between. A true high-end flagship has been missing, until today with the introduction of the F7 Pro and even more elaborate F7 Ultra.
The fact that the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are high-end flagships is immediately evident by the processor under which they run. The former has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood, while the latter has an even more modern Snapdragon 8 Elite. This is the same chipset that we find in almost all other flagships today.

Both phones feature the same Flow AMOLED screen. This measures 6.67 inches in size with a 2K resolution and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. Also, both phones use Android version 15 with HyperOS 2.0 on top that we also know from Xiaomi phones. Also, with both, the casing is IP68 dust and water resistant.
F7 Ultra: more cameras
The F7 Ultra features three cameras on the back; a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto with 2.5x optical zoom and a 32MP ultra-wide-angle. Up front we find a 32MP selfie camera.

The 5300 mAh battery is fast charging with 120W wired or 50W wireless. You do need a compatible HyperCharge charger for this. Interestingly, the back of the POCO F7 Ultra is not Gorilla Glass but POCO Shield Glass which is up to 20x more drop resistant than Gorilla Glass 7i which we find on the POCO F7 Pro.
F7 Pro: bigger battery
We find the largest battery of the bunch in the F7 Pro. It measures 6000 mAh in size and can be charged with up to 90W. Wireless refueling is not included. On the camera front, we find the same 50MP Light Fusion 800 image sensor as its bigger brother. However, it does lack a separate telephoto lens and the resolution of the ultra-wide-angle camera is limited to 8MP.

The POCO F7 Ultra will have a suggested retail price of €699.90 until April 10 and will be available in black and yellow. For the F7 Pro you will temporarily pay €499.90 where you can still Choose between the colors blue, silver and black. Both phones will be in stores from April 10, when the price will go up by 80 to 100 euros.
