Samsung Galaxy M13 quietly announced

Samsung has just added the Galaxy M13 to its lineup. But unfortunately, it did so without sending a press release. So it's up to us to inform you about this new entry-level model from the M series.

We had previously seen images of the Galaxy M13 so we're not surprised by its looks. The screen of the M13 will be a tad bigger and sharper; a 6.6-inch Infinity-V Display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2408x1080 pixels. Its predecessor, the M12, had to make do with a 6.5" HD display.

Samsung Galaxy M13 introduction
Say hello to the Samsung Galaxy M13

On the back of the Galaxy M13, Samsung places three cameras; a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 2MP depth camera. So gone is the separate macro camera. But that added little anyway due to its low 2MP resolution. The selfie camera seems the same; an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 lens.

Galaxy M13 specifications

There will be versions with 64 and 128GB of storage memory. The RAM comes out to 4GB. That doesn't seem like much, but Samsung has come up with something for that. The M13 runs One UI Core, a stripped-down version of the One UI platform. It has fewer pre-installed apps and also lacks some functions. This should make it run more smoothly.

Samsung is asking a price of around 245 euros for the Galaxy M13. For this, you get the model with 64GB of storage. When exactly we can expect the device is still unknown. For now, Samsung is keeping it at "the coming months".
