First i-mode phone with 3G capabilities from Sony Ericsson; the K610im
Sony Ericsson enters the i-mode market with the first dedicated device based on the K610i. The new K610im is the first 3G style classic i-mode mobile phone from the Swedish manufacturer.
Sony Ericsson shows us today their newest device based on the well-known K610i that will hit the market within several weeks. The K610im is the first dedicated 3G i-mode device from the Swedish manufacturer and consists of 2.0 Mpixel camera with flash, Memory Stick Micro memory card slot, flight mode, 3G/UMTS, videocalling, USB mass storage support and USB connectivity.
Furthermore the device has 1.9 inch 260.000 color TFT display, 16 MB internal memory and all standard i-mode capabilities such i-mail, i-mode DRM and iMMS.
The device will be available around August in countries that support operators with i-mode. Prices are not known at this stage.
