It's time to say goodbye to some nasty old bugs! This week a firmware update for the Apple iPhone 3G S, iPhone 4 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

Apple 3G S, iPhone 4 - iOS 4.3.5


Apple Releases an update for the current and previous versions of the iPhone. It is a security update, which fixes a problem with certificate verification. Unfortunately, you won't find new functions in this new version, which can also be installed on the iPad and iPod Touch. You can update your iPhone by connecting it to a computer which has iTunes installed.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 - Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Sony Ericsson doesn't forget users of rthe the previous generation of smartphones. The Japanese/Swedish brand, previously known for slow updates, has bettered its life and now comes with Android Gingerbread for the Xperia X10. This device was once brought to the market with Android 1.6, so it has been upgraded several times. The phone notifies you if the firmware is available. To download it, you need to connect your phone to a PC running Sony Ericsson PC Companion.
