Xiaomi plans to announce Mix Fold 3 on August 14, 2023
Xiaomi has announced when it will unveil the Mix Fold 3. The founder and CEO of Xiaomi did so in a blog post on X and immediately posted some photos with it.
Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, describes the Mix Fold 3 with three words; "thin," "elegant", and "premium." He did so on X, formerly Twitter. And looking at the images posted, we can get into that.
The foldable device looks thin, though we don't know precisely how thin. It also remains to be seen whether the Fold 3 is thinner than the also soon-to-be-announced Honor Magic V2. That measures folded just 9.9 millimeters thin, making it the thinnest foldable using this form factor at the moment.

Specifications of the Mix Fold 3 we don't know yet. But from the images, we can conclude that the device features at least four Leica cameras. We further see three different versions; a black and gold one and another black one with a leather texture.
We hope to hear more on Monday, August 14, 2023, when Xiaomi officially unveils this Mix Fold 3. Hopefully, Xiaomi will release the Mix Fold outside of China this time.
