Specifications of upcoming Oppo Find X9 Pro possibly known
In a few weeks, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will be launched. This top device seems to have hefty specifications, so thinks the well-known yummy Digital Chat Station. We list them for you here.
How about a powerful MediaTek processor, a large screen with super-sharp resolution and a huge battery. If that sounds familiar then it may be true. It is exactly the same list that almost every flagship features. So Oppo is not making striking tradeoffs in this.
Except maybe Oppo is opting for a MediaTek chip and not a Qualcomm copy. But since they didn't do that in previous years for the Find X series either, that has immediately become quite normal. The overall picture we have of the Find X9 Pro is;

It is notable that, in addition, a variant is coming out with satellite communication. Why this is not possible with every model remains a mystery.
200MP periscope camera
Comparing the specifications of the Oppo Find X9 Pro with those of the Find X8 Pro, a few things stand out. For one, there will be a totally new camera system consisting of Sony and Samsung sensors. For example, Oppo chooses Samsung's 200MP large ISOCELL HP5 sensor. This 1/1.56-inch large sensor is intended for the periscope camera, where we usually see (much) lower resolutions.
The more than 25% larger battery capacity is another notable detail in the spec list of the X9 Pro. It is obvious that Oppo chooses a battery with Silicon-Carbon composition. Oppo is no stranger to this technology; the Find N5 also features such a battery.
Find X9 series launch: Oct. 16
The launch of the Oppo Find X9 series with this X9 Pro may be scheduled for Oct. 16. The nearly 225-gram device will then be available in at least three colors; gold, pink and white.
