Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra spotted in striking colors

Orange version in particular garners much scorn

Dummies of the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra have been leaked in three different colors. The orange variant stands out, if only because Apple currently has an orange iPhone in its lineup.

The first major smartphone announcement is Samsung's. Traditionally, the South Koreans release a new generation of the Galaxy S series at the beginning of the year. And with only a few months left on the calendar, it's not surprising that we see a lot of Samsung rumors passing by.

But the best rumors are the ones with pictures. You can see above the upcoming S26 Ultra. It does not appear to be a working device but a so-called dummy. These are specimens often used in display cases or phone stores. It is also possible that someone has been busy with a 3D printer. Either way, the final colors may still change.

Apple copying

Now if Samsung really wants to copy Apple they should also come up with a dark blue variant. The colors Apple chose are not random; you get them when you anodize aluminum long enough. Whether Samsung will also make the Galaxy S26 Ultra out of aluminum and anodize it this time remains to be seen.

The image in this article surfaced via Reddit and there the colors are being quite criticized. Especially the orange version is being criticized. Many feel that Samsung is copying the iPhone 17 Pro a little too blatantly here. Still, let's wait and see what Samsung actually comes up with. It is still several months away from the launch of the device. Anything can still happen in the meantime.
