Exclusive: New press renders show 5.99 mm thin Motorola edge 70
With the launch of the edge 70 just around the corner, it comes as no surprise that images of the ultra-thin device are leaking out once again. We have received new images in the Pantone colors Lily Pad and Bronze Green from a source we trust.
The Motorola edge 70 promises to be the international version of the Moto X70 Air. With a body that measures only 5.99 millimeters at its thinnest point and weighs only 159 grams, the device goes into direct competition with the iPhone Air and the Galaxy S25 Edge. But Lenovo does have one trump card up its sleeve; it does have a large battery capacity.
Thus, the company previously revealed that the device inside features a 4800 mAh large battery. That's considerably larger than the 3149 mAh battery in the iPhone Air and 3900 mAh of the S25 Edge. This is because Lenovo does dare to apply a Silicon-Carbon battery. This technique manages to cram more battery capacity into a smaller size.
Energy label edge 70
We were also able to get our hands on the energy label of the Motorola edge 70 and it shows that the device scores an energy label A. The battery lasts an impressive 49 hours and 34 minutes on a single charge, and Lenovo promises that you can charge and discharge the battery 1000x. The waterproof rating comes out at IP68 which is comparable to the competition from Apple and Samsung.

Motorola previously announced that it will announce the device for the European market on Nov. 5. We assume it will be in stores soon after that. It will come in the Pantone colors mentioned above Bronze Green, Lily Pad and Gadget Gray. Retailers with early listings of the device are reporting a starting price of around €700.
