OnePlus launches OnePlus 15 with 165Hz screen and 7300mAh battery
OnePlus has announced its latest flagship for 2026; the OnePlus 15. The device will have a slightly smaller screen with a lower resolution, but in return it will be equipped with a gigantic battery.
The launch of the OnePlus 15 took place in China, which is immediately the reason why the OnePlus 14 does not exist. The number 4 is an unlucky number there. OnePlus gives the '15' a flat screen with a lower FHD+ resolution instead of QHD+ before. It remains to be seen if many users will notice the difference.

Screen refresh does go up to 165Hz. However, the biggest increase is in the battery capacity; it goes from 6000 to 7300 mAh. OnePlus has been betting on Silicon-Carbon batteries for some time, and we're happy to see that reflected in the raw specs. How much longer the OnePlus 15 can rely on this remains to be seen; the first practical tests are not expected until the device hits stores.
Europe will follow later
It won't take long, as the device will hit stores in China starting Oct. 28. The device will then be available through OnePlus' own website. Available colors are Absolute Black, Misty Purple and Sand Dune. In Europe, we will have to wait a little longer. Unfortunately, we don't have euro prices for you yet. As soon as those are known we will mention them here.
Those who can't wait can already buy the OnePlus 15 Bonus Drop Bundle on OnePlus' website for €1. This package contains €139 worth of accessories for your future OnePlus 15 including a carrying case and the SuperVOOC 120W Dual Ports charger.
