LG introduces successor of the KG320 and their latest cardphone; the KE820
At 9.9 mm deep and only weighing 73 grams, the new KE820 is the new cardphone from the korean brand LG, that will expand the current line of Black label products in the upcoming weeks throughout Europe.
LG Mobile has launched their new LG KE820 and successor of the KG320. At 9.9 mm deep and only weighing 73 grams, the KE820 looks like a streamlined and technologically packed credit card. The EDGE functionality provides high speed data rates including streaming Video On Demand and Music On Demand that allows real-time video watching or listening to the music so no need to wait till the file is fully downloaded. The KE820 can be recognized by LG’s personalised glossy black design and hidden panoramic LCD screen. The phone comes with a genuine leather case. With this premium handset LG targets young professionals who appreciate the combination of advanced features slipped into a unique design.
The LG KE820 makes no compromises in user comfort. Users easily view their gentle touches on the wide keypad, on the panoramic screen. The multitasking function allows callers to answer the phone, play games and use MP3 player or FM stereo radio, all at the same time. The 2.0 Megapixel camera and music player are easily accessible via separate hot keys. The camera has auto focus and a photometric side light adjuster for equal distribution of light over the image, particularly useful for poor light situations such as indoors and at night. Music lovers can enjoy music without wires via Bluetooth or using any headphones they wish.
This new cardphone phone has matchless speed via EDGE connections, reaching up to 200 kbps (kilo bits per second) to allow users to exchange text, photo, sound, speech or video messages instantly. Data exchange is easy and via USB Mass Storage function. When connected to a computer, files can be copied or deleted easily, as if the mobile was a USB stick. The 128 MB memory can be enlarged via MicroSD card up to 1 GB.
The LG KE820 and new Samsung P310 are direct competitors within this market of slim and cardsized models. Both support 2.0 Mpixel cameras with flash and video recording, Bluetooth, EDGE, MicroSD memory card slot, Black user interface, MP3 ringtones, USB Mass Storage and flight mode. We expect that the LG and Samsung model will hit the market in the upcoming weeks. The new Samsung P310 will not be available in each country within the European region. This will leave certain markets open for the new LG KE820, which we already addressed some weeks ago as a newly developed and excellent high quality LG product.
