Software applications for you mobile phone will increase in importance in the upcoming months. Nokia has seen this too and have initiated awards to address the best developed applications for any mobile phone running Symbian v9.1 operating system and Series 60 3rd Edition user interface.
Forum Nokia PRO Awards is a yearly competition with three different categories. It recognizes exciting innovations, technical accomplishments and commercial successes that are driving the rapid evolution of mobile applications, content and services worldwide. The categories for applications are Enterprise solutions, Flash applications Location aware services & applications and Mobile Music applications. More than 400 entries have been entered into the competition.
From the five nominated applications within the three categories only three had the possibility to win a price. The second runner-up price was a year free Forum Nokia PRO access. The first runner-up price was a year free Forum Nokia PRO access and three of the latest Nokia Series 60 devices. The winner of any of the categories will get the same price as the first runner-up and extra 25.000 Euros.
We will only mentioned the winners of each category here. Check them out for your Series 60 3rd Edition mobile phone as for instance the Nokia N80, N91, E70, E60, E61 and 3250.
