Nokia confirms cancellation of Symbian powered 600

The Nokia 600 is not even on the market yet, and it never will be. The Finnish brand confirmed canceling the Symbian Belle phone on Facebook. A reason for the decision is not given.

The Nokia 600 was presented as one of the devices in the new line of Nokia’s Symbian powered phones. Following the announcement that Nokia joins forces with Micorosft for future smartphones, Nokia decided to make Symbian the OS for mid-range devices. The 600 was one of the first devices that were released in the new Symbian series of Nokia, but is removed before it comes on the market.

Rumors that the 600 would be removed were there earlier. All information about the device was removed from the Internet, and where a Nokia fan on Facebook asked about the phone, he got the confirmation of the cancellation of the Nokia 600. A further statement from Finnish side wasn’t given. Rumor has that the 600 is deleted to free up factories for the Nokia Lumia 710 and Nokia Lumia 800.
