The update offers little new functionality, although it is always nice is that manufacturers continue to update Android because of the bug fixes. The new version can be downloaded Over The Air, and is automatically offered when it is ready. You can best get the download over WiFi.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia line advances another subversion of Android . The phones concerned are the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc, arc S, pro, neo, neo V, Play, mini, ray, active, Live With Walkman and mini pro. Previously we reported that an update for the Xperia Play, now it seems that this really comes to the Xperia series. Besides a slightly newer version of Android you will also find a Swype style keyboard, and a number of other improvements. To update your phone, connect it to a PC running the PC Companion software.
