Simpler OnePlus 15R expected on Dec. 17, comes in these three colors
OnePlus is currently putting the finishing touches on the OnePlus 15R. This device will come out in its home country China as the Ace 6T, but we will soon get to know it as the 15R. The device is expected to be announced on December 17 and will come in at least three colors.
OnePlus gives the OnePlus 15R the same design as the recently announced OnePlus 15. Similarly, the camera module here sits in the top left corner although OnePlus does fit one less camera on the 15R.
In terms of specifications, the same list is expected that OnePlus is applying to the Ace 6T. Those are a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 165Hz display, 100W fast charging and a monstrous 8000 mAh battery. The expected colors are;
- Flash Black
- Phantom Green
- Electric Purple
OnePlus 15R = Ace 6T
OnePlus already released some press renders of the OnePlus Ace 6T that will come out internationally as the OnePlus 15R. On the camera front, we expect a downgrade from the OnePlus 15 with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle. From this we can conclude that a telephoto camera is missing.
The unveiling of the OnePlus 15R may be accompanied by the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet. That tablet is expected to get support for pen input and appears to feature a sturdy body. On Wednesday, Dec. 17, we will undoubtedly hear more.
