Channel Tunnel to get GSM coverage

When the news came that the Channel Tunnel would get GSM coverage, we were quite suprised that it wasn't there yet. Starting from 2012, the jon should be done, just in time for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The Channel Tunnel, which runs from Calais in France to Dover in England, connects Great Britain to the European mainland. Calling with a mobile phone in the 50 kilometers long tunnel is not possible at the moment. To get mobile coverage in the tunnel, and investment of 30 million euros is needed.
