On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Lenovo seems to be announcing a new Motorola device. We had seen this edge S codenamed Nio before but an exact launch date was missing at the time.
We previously called the Motorola edge S an confusing device. That's because it looks quite similar to the previously announced Moto G 5G Plus and may only be sold in China. The latter option is only reinforced with this image released today. It shows a date in Chinese: 2021-1-26 and even a time: 19:30.

Like previously released images, we see a device with 3 or 4 cameras on the back with a glossy finish. The 'edge s' is expected to run under Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 870 processor which in terms of performance sits between the high-end 888 and the previous flagship; the 865. In theory a real flagship. The person who posted the tweet above reports that the device will be released worldwide. However, the device is expected to be released outside of China under the Moto series.
