Render shows Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G with 120Hz screen

Lite makes way for 'Fan Edition'

Despite the fact that the S20-series was launched six months ago, Samsung is about to add a new model to its lineup. A kind of rebirth of the 'S10 Lite' but with the more friendly name 'Fan Edition'.

Renders of this Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, which stands for Fan Edition, come from @onleaks and are published at PriceBaba. Usually these renders are reliable, except for some minor differences. The S20 FE 5G will be the direct successor to the S10 Lite with many similarities to his other S20 siblings but at a lower price.

The alleged Samsung Galaxy S20 'Fan Edition'

For example, the S20 FE 5G gets a flat screen of up to 6.5 inches with a punch hole at the top for the 32MP selfie camera. The screen edges are small but the flat glass makes them much more visible. On the back we find many similarities to the S20. The glass camera module protrudes a bit and houses 3 different sensors. In all probability this is a 12MP main camera, 12MP ultra wide angle and 8MP telephoto with 3x zoom. What is missing, as with the S20 series, is a headphone jack. You can listen music wireless or via USB-C.

High-end processor

For a Lite model, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with a high-end processor. Perhaps this is the reason why Samsung decided to change the Lite name to Fan Edition. Inside we find a Snapdragon 865. Combined with at least 6GB of RAM, Android 10 and One UI 2.5, this promises great performance. The screen is capable of up to 120 Hz, something we usually only see on expensive flagships. Expect a sales price of around 750 American Dollar, converted to around 630 Euro. When the device will be in shops is still unknown.
