Expected cell phones
An overview of all expected phones that are not available yet but will soon be released in the Netherlands. Although they are not available yet, some are already on sale; they are available as pre-order. You can buy them but will have to be patient before they are delivered.
The above list includes phones that are expected. Some of them have already been announced but have yet to hit stores, some have not yet been announced. Some of them seem certain, especially phones that get a successor every year, some are still deep in the rumor circuit. We have added the cell phones that have not yet been announced without specifications, you cannot compare them with other phones yet. As soon as we have data we will add them but they will only become definitive when they are officially unveiled by the manufacturer.
Pre-order
Phones that are announced but not yet available can sometimes be ordered. This is called pre-order, also known as pre-sale. Some manufacturers try to encourage pre-orders with special promotions. A free headset, for example. The disadvantage is that you have to wait some time before you get your phone. If you already need a new mobile phone, for example because your current one is broken, then a pre-order is not recommended. A reason to pre-order a phone is to make sure you are the first to get a new phone without having to queue for it.
