The Nokia 3.4 is an entry-level phone but does not look like an entry-level phone. It has a modern appearance with contemporary specifications. It is also much more powerful than its predecessor. What we mean by that exactly is something you read here.
The Nokia 3.4 is not the successor of the 3.3 but of the 3.2. This is because Nokia skipped the 3.3. This is because Nokia skipped the 3.3. It makes this 3.4 quite a few improvements. Starting with the processor. The Snapdragon 460 is much more powerful compared to the 429. This is mainly due to the doubling of calculation scores. In practice, the 3.4 will feel faster because of this, although the Snapdragon 4xx series is mainly a chipset for cheaper phones. Something the Nokia 3.4 is also sure of. But you don't see it right away. This is mainly due to the screen. It now has a punch-hole in the top left corner. Gone is the old-fashioned notch. It also leaves more screen space for you to view content.
A 6.38-inch screen consumes power, and a lot of it. To cope with that, there is a 4000 mAh large battery inside the 3.4 with a specified battery life of at least 2 days. Nokia saves this by applying the battery saving mode of Android 10; Adaptive Battery. It teaches you how to use your phone and adjusts the energy consumption accordingly. What also helps to save your battery is the bare Android version. Nokia uses Android One for its smartphones, which doesn't ship with unnecessary apps like some other phones. That keeps your phone fast. It also gets monthly security updates and guaranteed some Android updates. So the 3.4 can last a few years without any worries.
If we overturn the Nokia 3.4, perhaps the first thing we notice is the Finnish design. The ribbed back has a 3D nano texture that prevents it from slipping out of your hand. Above the fingerprint scanner is a round camera module consisting of three cameras. Neat for this price category. It is a 13MP main camera, 5MP ultra wide angle and a 2MP depth camera. With the latter you can replace backgrounds that come in handy for portrait photography. Landscapes are shot again with the ultra wide angle camera so everything fits in 1x. Most of the shots are taken with the 13MP main camera with wide-angle lens. All in all, a great entry-level phone with a reasonable price and solid specifications.
