First CAD render shows Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge with redesigned back cover
The first rough renders of the upcoming Galaxy S26 Edge are in and show an updated design. The rear camera module will be device-wide, just like Apple is about to do. There is no need for this as only two cameras will be placed on it.
However, the wide module will make the device less wobbly when you put it down. As a result, the S26 Edge does look less thin because of the rather hefty module, unlike the camera pill on the S25 Edge. It is also the first time Samsung has used this style, previously cameras were placed loose on the back or grouped on a pill-shaped island.

It was previously rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge features an improved ultra-wide-angle camera. That we now see two cameras on the back confirms that there will not be a separate telephoto camera to zoom in with this time as well.
Usable source, design as good as final
As usual, these CAD renders come from @onleaks though they first appeared at AndroidHeadlines. They write with it that these are not yet the final design, although it doesn't look like much more is going to change.

The upcoming Galaxy S26 Edge will succeed last years' Plus model. That won't be the only change in the S26 series lineup. For example, the entry-level model will be replaced by the S26 Pro and become more comprehensive than previous models. The only model that will remain the same is the S26 Ultra, although this model appears to be getting slightly larger.
Contours of the S26 series appeared earlier this week, which, in addition to similarities to this S26 Edge, also showed a cutout for Qi2 magnets. Whether this means the upcoming S26 models will feature built-in magnets like the Pixel 10 series remains to be seen. It would immediately negate the unique advantage of the Pixel series, though.
