Mail to employees

Jobs seemed to do better lately, but in an e-mail to all Apple-employess, Jobs says that he need some time to work on his health again. He says that he continues as CEO, but leaves the daily direction of Apple to Tim Cook, making him in fact CEO for the time being.

Cook represented Apple last week, when the CDMA iPhone was presented in cooperation with Verizon. Jobs'absence didn't cause any rumors of illness back then, but in hindsight, it may be that Jobs wasn't present due to his illness.
