A MicroSD memory card is a Flash memory card known for its small size.

A MicroSD memory card is 15 mm x 11 mm x 1 mm in size and half a gram in weight, which is comparable to a fingernail. This type of memory card used to be called the TransFlash. The MicroSD memory cards so far have a capacity of up to 8GB.
