Samsung holds 'Galaxy Awesome Unpacked' event on March 17
On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, Samsung will hold its next Unpacked event called 'Galaxy Awesome'. Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy A52 and A72.
The 14-second video doesn't reveal much about these future phones. However, we do see a young woman which leads us to think that we will get to see models from the youthful Galaxy A series. Not entirely coincidentally, Samsung has yet to unveil the recently surfaced Galaxy A72 and A52
As is now customary, the event can be followed online via Samsung's YouTube channel. The event starts March 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM AET, 3 PM GMT. Thankfully, we don't have to wait until then to know what's in store for us. The Galaxy A52 and A72 have both already been leaked frequently.
Specifications A52 and A72
Both phones will have an AMOLED screen with high refresh rates. This is currently not common in this price category. Also, both have at least four cameras at the back and a Qualcomm processor from the Snapdragon 7 series. The difference is mainly the screen size and battery capacity. Also it is expected that the A72 is the only from the two with stereo speakers. Prices will presumably be similar to the Galaxy A71 and A51 when they came out.
