Design of upcoming Motorola Razr 70 Ultra revealed by leaked CAD renders
There have been a lot of CAD renders of as-yet unannounced phones over the past few days. This time, the Motorola razr 70 Ultra is in the spotlight. Or is it Lenovo? Either way, we're looking forward to a slightly thicker flip phone than its predecessor. Read why here.
Once again, these images come from @onleaks. This French leaker teamed up with XpertPick for this leak. We see an obvious flip phone that fits nicely into Motorola's current razr family. The device also still strongly resembles its predecessor, the razr 60 ultra, thanks to its rounded sides and full-screen front with two camera eyes.
The design hasn't been tinkered with much, which is somewhat notable because today's trend is mostly straighter and more angular rather than rounded. Still, there is a noticeable difference between this 70 ultra and its predecessor: the dimensions.
Increased thickness indicates possibly larger battery
While the razr 60 ultra was 15.69 millimetres thick when folded, the razr 70 ultra adds a bit to that to reach 15.8 millimetres. That difference will hardly be noticeable to the eye, but we suspect the increased battery capacity will be. The previous battery was 4700 mAh, and we assume the new razr ultra will have more.
However, final specifications are not in yet, so this remains speculation. We have to make do with these pictures of the exterior for now. Lenovo announced the razr 60 ultra in April 2025. If they stick to an annual release, we only have to be patient for a little while longer before we also receive the specifications of the razr 70 ultra.
