Exclusive: Motorola razr 70 appears April 29; images of all colours leaked

Images of the upcoming Motorola RAZR 70 have surfaced. This unreleased flip phone will be available in four Pantone colours: Sporting Green, Haematite, Bright White, and Violet Ice. These images were leaked by insider Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks.

The razr 70 promises to be more than just a flip phone; it is an actual series likely consisting of the razr 70, the razr 70+, and the razr 70 ultra. We previously showed you the future colours of the razr 70+, and now it is the entry-level model's turn.

The fact that we are looking at the entry-level model of the razr 70 series is evident from the fairly substantial bezels and the fact that the cover screen does not cover the entire front. This is something we see on the ultra version. As usual with Motorola, we see special Pantone colours, each with its own finish, ranging from glossy to textile.

Planned launch of the razr 70

Meanwhile, we may have learnt more about the expected launch date of the razr 70. For example, the embargo on the razr 70+ expires on Wednesday, April 29. In other words, that is when it will be announced. If Motorola announces the entire razr 70 series simultaneously, we will also see this razr 70 and the more advanced razr 70 ultra become official.

Choosing late April is strategically risky, as it puts Motorola just ahead of expected summer updates from competitors like Samsung. The device will have to impress immediately with a competitive price to justify the entry-level model's outdated screen technology.
