Samsung leaks unannounced wide foldable via One UI 9 beta
We know we're repeating ourselves, but we'll keep saying it: The best leaks are those from the manufacturers themselves. This time, Samsung is leaking images of its as-yet-unknown Galaxy Z Fold 4. The extra-wide foldable is expected to be released sometime this summer, alongside the Flip 8 and Fold 8.
The images below were spotted in the One UI 9 code by Android Authority. They found images of the Wide Fold as well as those of the Fold 8, which is also yet to be announced.

The surfaced image shows the Wide not only from the back but also from the front. Comparing it to the Fold 8, it is clear how much wider the device is. The advantage is that it creates a widescreen display when unfolded; ideal for watching videos. Currently, book-style foldables offer a square screen which, while convenient for multitasking, is not ideal for consuming content.
The name "Fold 8 Wide" was previously rumoured as a possible product name, but we are now hearing "Fold Wide" or "Wide Fold". The codename remains the same: H8. The new wide device may fall under the Galaxy Z series name.
Galaxy Z Wide: Sits Between Flip and Fold
Remarkably little is known about the specifications of the Wide Fold. The images suggest there are two cameras on the back instead of the three expected on the Fold 8. This possibly says something about the price; it may sit between the Flip and Fold at 1,200-2,100 euros.
