Price and launch date emerge of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Details about availability of Sony Ericsson's first smartphone running on Windows Mobile, the X1, surfaced. Furthermore the price of the Xperia with its unique slide-mechanism became public.
The announcement of the Xperia X1 took place in Barcelona earlier this year. And stunned we were when the guys from Sony Ericsson introduced a smartphone based on Windows Mobile!
Today we came across the Xperia X1 in a well-known Dutch webshop. The site tells us that the Xperia X1 is to be expected in August for a retail price of around 750 euros. That's a lot! Especially when competitors such as the E-ten Glofiish M810 and HTC Touch Diamond cost around 300 euros less! On the other hand, Sony Ericsson throws in a high-end Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with a unique slider mechanism and a gigantic WVGA screen of 800 x 480 pixels!
New colors
Besides the color black, not long ago some pictures of a new color surfaced. This new color (silver grey) looks good on the X1, doesn't it?
