Fresh into summer: Xiaomi 15 Ultra gets new colours
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is an impressive camera phone. However, the available colours were uninspiring: white, black, and a silver dual tone. Recognising this, Xiaomi is introducing three new dual-tone colours. Three new dual-tone versions will arrive just in time for summer.
Xiaomi is releasing the trio of colours as a Limited Edition and we haven't spotted them in European stores yet either. Hopefully that's only a matter of time because some extra colour the Xiaomi 15 Ultra could use just fine. These three new colours bring the total number of colours to six.
The three colours in question are Blue, Purple and Brown and all three follow the dual-tone style of the already available Silver Chrome version. Here, a silver stripe can be found all over the back. Playful and at the same time a reference to the ikonic Leica cameras that Xiaomi collaborates with.
For those who had forgotten; the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is a premium camera in addition to being a high-end phone. The device is capable of shooting stunning photos and viewing them back on its excellent screen. And thanks to the extra-large battery, you can do that for a nice long time in a row. Moreover, there is the optional Photography Kit to get even more out of the device.

Speaking of which, the Photography Kit also comes out in the same three new colours. This pricy accessory adds a dial, zoom button and video button in addition to a physical two-stage shutter release button.
The kit further includes over an adaptor ring to attach 67mm filters and a 2000mAh battery that increases the total battery life of the 15 Ultra from 5410 to 7410 mAh. So you can shoot photos or record video for longer. But then the Kit must be on sale, and availability here is quite a thing. The availability remains at Xiaomi at a few days.

So for now, there's no need to run to the store for any of these three new colours. We look forward to hearing from Xiaomi whether they plan to release the blue, purple and brown versions of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and matching Photography Kit in Europe.
