Google Pixel 11 Series Coming Soon: What to Expect

Google will announce the Pixel 11 series on Wednesday, August 12. Similar to last year, we expect an entry-level model, a Pro model, a larger Pro XL model, and a foldable Pro Fold model. We have already received images of all four models, which give a good idea of what is to come.

Images below are from Evan Blass, who interrupted his retirement specifically for the Pixel 11. As usual, Evan doesn't provide text with his material, but fortunately, we can deduce a lot from the images.

Pixel 11

The Google Pixel 11 will be released in hot pink, black, and green, in addition to purple. The back still features three cameras, including a telephoto lens that many brands usually reserve for their more expensive models.

Pixel 11 Pro

On the Pixel 11 Pro, we see something special on the back. The camera flash has multiple colours and serves as notification lighting. According to rumours, this feature will be called HiLight and seems reserved only for Pro models. Other differences include the Tensor G6 chip and digital zoom up to 120x.

Pixel 11 Pro XL

A larger XL model will also be released in 2026 in the form of the Pixel 11 Pro XL, this time in a fresh new pink colour with a gold frame.

Pixel 11 Pro Fold

And finally, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold cannot be missing. Here, too, we see HiLight on the back as well as a new green version. Many differences in specifications are not expected. Unfortunately, that does not apply to the price.

Prices Up, Google Confirms

Prices for entry-level models are expected to rise by €100, which is compensated for by doubling storage from 128 to 256GB. Google is, however, removing the choice of a more affordable 128GB model. The Pro XL and Pro Fold were already released in 2025 starting at 256GB, and the price increase also applies to them without anything in return. Leaked European suggested retail prices show this picture per model:

ModelPredecessor (2025)Expected (2026)Difference
Pixel 11€899 (128GB)€999 (256GB)+€100, double storage
Pixel 11 Pro€1,099 (128GB)€1,199 (256GB)+€100, double storage
Pixel 11 Pro XL€1,299 (256GB)€1,399 (256GB)+€100
Pixel 11 Pro Fold€1,899 (256GB)€1,999 (256GB)+€100

The same source expects sales to begin around August 20.

The price increase is no longer a rumour: Google confirmed in late July that the entire Pixel line will become more expensive and points to the memory market, where RAM procurement became six times more expensive within a year. Google, and thus the Pixel consumer, cannot escape RAMageddon: the global explosion of memory prices affecting the entire industry. Don't want to pay that increase? Then it pays to keep an eye on the price of the Pixel 10 after August 12, as it is still available as a more affordable 128GB model.
