Motorola Signature 27 Leaked: Row of Cameras, 200MP, and Bang & Olufsen
The Motorola Signature was announced earlier this year, and its parent company, Lenovo, now believes the time is right for a successor. In that short time, the Signature seems to have reached adolescence. Anyone looking at the back of the Signature 27 will notice the abundance of cameras.
How many rear cameras on a smartphone are too many? That is certainly not a question they asked themselves at Lenovo. They did, however, have to figure out where to put them all, because we count at least four on the back of the Signature 27: three round lenses in the top row and a square periscope lens to the left below them. The circle at the bottom right is for a sensor. Each one gets its own prominent spot, just like pimples on a teenager’s face.
Asymmetrical, just like Nothing Phone (3)
Now, four cameras are by no means an exception; the Oppo Find X9 Ultra even has five. But on that phone, they are arranged on a circular camera module. Lenovo’s solution is quite different, featuring an asymmetrical layout that is somewhat reminiscent of the Nothing Phone (3).
Unveiling at Snapdragon Summit
Lenovo is reportedly bringing the Signature 27 to the Snapdragon Summit, which will be held in Hawaii from September 22 thru 24. This immediately reveals another feature of the device: a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
What the teasers have already revealed
Thanks to various teasers that Lenovo has released about the device, we also know more about other specifications:

* Bang & Olufsen audio
* Pantone colours Coal Smoke and Capulet Olive
What will the Signature 27 cost?
The fact that the Motorola Signature 27 will be shown on September 22 does not necessarily mean it will be officially released on that date. Nor does it say anything about when it will hit store shelves. We will need more information from Motorola for that. Hopefully, we will also hear the expected price soon. The first Signature went on sale for €999, but it had even fewer cameras on board. Given the shortage of memory chips, it would not surprise us if the price of the Signature 27 is higher.
