Samsung Galaxy S26 launch possibly delayed by months
For years, we have expected a new Galaxy S series in January. However, that might not happen with the Galaxy S26 series. According to multiple sources, some problems are on the horizon.
What exactly those problems are remains conjecture. Earlier, it became clear that the line-up's composition was under discussion. For instance, the Plus model was initially expected to be replaced by the Edge model, but that decision appears to have been reversed due to the disappointing sales of the S25 Edge.

Then there are reports of manufacturing issues with the Exynos 2600, which is expected to power the entire S26 series. It remains to be seen what exactly is true of this. Samsung has not yet begun mass production of the S26 models. It was supposed to start in December but has been pushed back to January for some models. That's too short a time for a January launch.
No launch date for S26 series yet
It is still unclear when we can expect the Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra is still unclear. Several rumours speak of a late February/early March release, but it is unclear on what they are based.

It remains to be seen what decision Samsung will make and how long we will have to wait for the release. However, an early January launch seems increasingly unlikely. This gives Samsung time to consider their models, but it's unclear if they have enough time to make improvements. Many believe that the S26 series will not differ significantly from the S25 series.
