Updated CAD renders of Samsung Galaxy S26+ released
New renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26+ have surfaced. While these updated renders show minor differences, they signal a clear direction. Namely, it differs little from last year's model.
There are three models, similar to last year's, with few changes. That seems to be the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. New images of the Plus model are surfacing. Previously on the verge of being traded in, the Plus model appears slightly thicker in the new images.

It's not very different from last year's S25+. The only difference is the layout of the camera module. However, the device is slightly thicker than in earlier CAD renderings, possibly due to the built-in Qi2 magnets.
S26 series: proven formula
Earlier, there were rumours that the S26+ would be replaced by the S26 Edge. However, those plans seem to have changed due to disappointing sales of the ultra-thin Edge. Samsung is therefore reverting to its tried-and-true formula of three models. It's not clear if there will ever be another S26 Edge.

The Galaxy S26+ is expected to get a flat 6.7-inch screen with thin bezels that are the same size everywhere. The sides will also be flat next year. The three cameras sit on a platform this time, something Samsung did previously with the S25 Edge. Expect the S26 and S26 Ultra to get this design as well.
S26+ specifications
Further specifications may include an Exynos 2600 chip for the European market and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip for the U.S. and Korean markets. The battery may remain smaller than those of some other manufacturers who have already switched to silicon-carbon batteries, with a capacity of 4,900 mAh. There are also no expected changes in terms of fast charging.
Samsung traditionally announces its new Galaxy S series at the beginning of the year. There are as many rumours saying the announcement is delayed as there are saying it is on time. Only Samsung knows when the S26 Plus will be launched, so we recommend waiting patiently.
