Pictures of new LG flagship leaked

LG is pushing the throttle with its new Android handsets. New pictures shop what LG is planning to roll out in the future. The Korean company is follwing the trend of ever growing screen sizes, and comes with a phone with a 4 inch screen.

The most impressive part of the phone can be found under the hood: LG uses a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. This dual-core processor, running at a clockfrequency of 1Ghz, brings HD multimedia to the smartphone. The processor has a built-in Geforce graphic chip. The new phone, codenamed Star, can playback 1080p video over HDMI.

Vanilla Android

According to the person who tipped Engadget, LG chose to install an highly uncustomized version of Android on the new handset. The main advantage of that step is that it will be easy for LG to offer an upgrade to the new versions of Googles operating system.
