The Huawei P30 lite is the entry-level model from the P30 series but Huawei has fortunately set the bar high. The RAM memory is generously proportioned, the cameras are of excellent quality and the screen is nice and modern. Camera with its own opinion

To start with the camera. Huawei applies no less than three cameras, the highest of which has a resolution of 48 megapixels. This allows you to take sharp and clear photos. Moreover, the extra lens offer gives you more choice. You can zoom in up to 2x with one lens and take extra wide shots with the other. With an angle of view of 120° you can capture more, useful for wide landscapes for example. The camera of the P30 lite recognises 22 different situations and chooses the best settings. Not having to dive into the menu beforehand increases the chance that you shoot that perfect picture.

Large screen, streamlined appearance

Huawei has placed a 6.15 inch screen at the front of the P30 lite. That's nice and big to look at for a long time. The screen has a small notch at the top for the 24 megapixel selfie camera. And because the edges of the screen have been kept to a minimum, a reasonably compact phone has been created. The back is made of glass that is slightly curved at the edges, so it lies comfortably in the hand. It also makes it extra fragile due to the excess of glass. So consider a case.

Much of the same but still unique

The Huawei P30 lite may be the 'little' brother of the P30 series, but it has a larger screen than the regular P30 and unlike the P30 Pro, this lite does have a headphone input. These are not only advantages. For example, it lacks a waterproof housing. Furthermore, they are mainly similar. You can charge it via Quick Charge and the processor is fast and powerful enough to play along with. Even the standard storage memory of 128 GB is the same. Quite unique for this price point. And that for a few hundred euros less than what you pay for the regular Huawei P30.
