Doro phones stand out for its simplicity. Be it a phone or smartphone. Doro is traditionally a Swedish company but delivers throughout almost the entire EU.

Assist button

Most Doro products have an assistance button. This is a physical button, usually on the back of the device. It is activated when pressed for three seconds (or twice in quick succession). The device then calls a preset list of people (up to three). If the person does not answer, the next one from the list is tried.

If desired, a text message can also be sent (Assistance SMS). This is a preset message, such as "This is an emergency message from Mr Jansen from Apeldoorn". Some more elaborate Doro phones can also send the location of the person or a photo. The condition is then that this phone has GPS and/or a camera.
