Motorola Moto G 5G product description
The Motorola Moto G 5G is an affordable 5G phone for the masses. It features a large screen, battery for 2 days and a 48MP triple camera. But it is also fast enough for gaming. If you want more information then feel free to read more.
It's all about speed
The Moto G is Motorola's most popular series of affordable and attainable phones. This Moto G 5G is the first Moto G with 5G support. With 5G you can have extra fast mobile internet. You may not need it now but it's a comforting thought that your phone can. In case you suddenly need it or it is included in your subscription. You don't have to buy a new mobile right away. 5G isn't just convenient because it allows for faster internet, it's also better suited for mobile gaming. The chipset inside is also suitable for that; the Snapdragon 750 5G can handle even the most elaborate games.

Formal appearance
The Moto G 5G is designed like a modern smartphone. The front screen has a small punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera. The G 5G is pretty big though. On the one hand to house the 6.7-inch screen but also thick to house the 5000 mAh battery. On the back of the mostly plastic body is a physical fingerprint scanner. This is neatly tucked away inside the Motorola logo. At the back is also where we find the triple camera. This is a 48, 8 and 2MP one, for head, ultra wide angle and macro respectively. The 48MP primary camera, thanks to Quad Pixel technology, takes pictures with 12MP resolution but extra sharp and clear. The ultra wide angle has a viewing angle of 118° and the macro camera can take extreme close-ups. All in all, a nice combination of cameras but with average results.
Main Motorola Moto G 5G specifications
- 6.7-inch Max Vision display with sharp FHD+ resolution
- 16MP Quad Pixel selfie camera with f/2.2 lens in small punch-hole
- 48+8+2MP camera with 118° wide angle and macro + Full HD video
- Snapdragon 750 5G processor suitable for gaming
- 4GB of RAM memory, 64GB storage memory (expandable up to 1TB)
- 5000 mAh large battery + 20W fast charge
- IP52-rated plastic body (splash proof)
- 5G support for extra-fast mobile internet
Waterproof long-distance runner
We already briefly wrote about the battery. With a capacity of 5000 mAh, it has a stated battery life of 2 days. In practise, that seems to be correct. And if it gets too short, there is fast charging support (TurboPower) to charge for another 10 hours with just 15 minutes. To keep up with your busy life, the housing has been made splashproof (IP52). That's a bit different than waterproof so don't drop it in the pool. The only real shame about the Moto G 5G is that it doesn't have a smooth screen. Some competitors have screens at 90Hz or higher for the same price.
