The OnePlus 7T takes away perhaps the most important argument to buy a OnePlus 7 Pro; the smooth display. It refreshes the image 90 times every second, resulting in a lightning-fast smooth user experience. It is hard to show or explain, you have to experience it. The fact is that this makes the 7T feel like a premium smartphone. However, this 7T does have a notch at the top of the screen for the selfie camera. The Pro variant uses a pop-up selfie camera. That may look a bit more modern, but it is also more vulnerable. After all, moving parts can break down. It isn't very waterproof, something that doesn't bother this 7T.
