Start exploringThis Oppo Reno4 is a 5G phone with a slim body, quite a few cameras and with an extra fast charging battery. It's also pretty inexpensive for what you can do with it. What all we're going to try to figure out here.
Somehow it is a shame! You buy a new mobile and then you put it in a case. This Reno4 5G actually deserves to go thru life naked. The case is 7.8mm thin, the edges are rounded and the smooth back plays with the light. In other words, the Reno4 is a thing of beauty. The 6.4 inch screen is compact by today's standards and features a hidden fingerprint scanner. The AMOLED panel ensures colourful images with high contrast. So black really is black. The FHD+ resolution ensures sharp images and the brightness is high. Even outdoors thanks to a peak brightness of no less than 1100 nits. The screen is just not fluid. It sticks to 60Hz instead of the sometimes higher refresh rates we see these days.

The screen contains a dual selfie camera of 32 and 2MP. By combining both, you can blur backgrounds and create a bokeh effect. On the back we find another 3 cameras with the name "Ultra Clear Triple LDAF Camera". That is a mouthful for a 48, 8 and 2MP camera with ultra-wide-angle and mono lens. You can shoot very nice photos with it, but unfortunately, it lacks a separate zoom camera. Oppo mainly focuses on video. There is a special video nite mode (Ultra Nite Video) and you can shoot extra stable videos thanks to Ultra Steady Video 3.0. Optical image stabilisation is missing, so the Reno4 does everything via EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation). The Dual Selfie-camera also has a stable video mode so that you always have your head in focus.
The built-in 4000 mAh battery can be charged quickly with a whopping 65W. For this, Oppo uses its SuperVOOC technology. Instead of 1 battery, Oppo uses 2 batteries and they can both be charged with 32.5W. This adds up to 65W. A full charge takes no longer than half an hour. The mobile internet is also fast. There is 5G support thanks to the Snapdragon 765G processor. That is a mid-range chipset with decent performance. Oppo applies 8GB of RAM memory which makes the Reno4 5G feel nice and fast. The storage memory amounts to 128GB and is not expandable. However, you can put a 2nd SIM card in it.
