Better screen, better pen, better cameras

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the best that Samsung currently has to offer. You can see that in every aspect. Starting with the screen. It has a 6.9-inch screen that is curved at the edges. In the middle is a punch-hole for the 10MP selfie camera. So we're talking about an Infinity-O Display that this time is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus; the hardest glass ever in a smartphone. The chosen resolution is Quad HD+, which is the sharpest Samsung offers in a phone. New is the extra high refresh rate of 120Hz. This makes movements look smoother and your phone feels faster. Also faster this year is the S Pen. By reducing latency by no less than 80%, the speed between touching and reacting, the pen feels much more natural. As if you are writing with a real pen.

Windows and Xbox integration

Written notes are converted into text as usual but there is now auto-save and synchronisation to Windows and 365. This integration with Microsoft products goes so far that you can even control your Note20 Ultra from your PC. You can also play Xbox games over the cloud thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. After launch, there are 100 titles to choose from including Minecraft Dungeons and Gears 5.

Camera with 5x optical, 50x Space Zoom

In terms of camera, there is little that comes close to the Note 20 Ultra. On the back there is a triple camera system consisting of a 108 MP main camera with 1/1.33 inch sensor and f/1.8 lens. The result is razor-sharp photos and 8K video. There is also a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto zoom. The latter allows you to zoom in optically up to 5x without loss of quality. Combined with the 108MP sensor you get objects 50x closer. You do lose some sharpness but the result should be better than last year when Space Zoom was first introduced. It still went up to 100x but was practically unusable due to numerous problems.

Large battery can also charge others

If you place the Note20 Ultra next to the Note20, you will immediately see that this Ultra is a bit more square. This makes it look tighter and tougher. In terms of size, there is more than enough space for a large battery. In the case of the Note20 Ultra, it's 4500 mAh, enough for a day's use. Fast recharging, wireless charging and wireless power giveaway are all possible again. Just like 5G, if you're in an area that supports it.
