Your current phone is slow, the screen’s cracked, or you’re simply ready for the latest tech. But where do you start? The choice is overwhelming. Don’t worry. Whether you’re after the brand-new iPhone 17, the Samsung Galaxy S26 or an affordable entry-level model, you can compare all the options in a flash here. Take control of your monthly costs

Buying a phone outright can really put a dent in your finances. A phone on a contract spreads those costs, meaning you can get your hands on even the most expensive flagship models straight away without breaking the bank. With us, you’ll see not only the major providers but also the budget operators.

Why it pays to compare through us:

  • Exclusive online deals: Often cheaper than buying directly from the provider.
  • All-in-one overview: Filter by data, call minutes and maximum one-off top-up.
  • Combi-deal check: Do you already have home broadband? Tick this box and see your extra discount straight away (double data or a discount on your bill).

iPhone or Android: Which side are you on?

Choosing a handset often starts with the operating system. Are you a loyal Apple fan, or do you swear by the freedom of Android?

  • Apple iPhone with a mobile plan: If you choose iOS, you’re choosing long-term value, privacy and seamless integration with your other Apple devices. The iPhone 16 and 17 series currently dominate the market with their powerful chips and cameras.
  • Samsung Galaxy with a contract: The king of Android. From the affordable A-series to the high-end S25 Ultra. Samsung often offers the best screens and extensive customisation options.

Keep an eye on the 5G-ready future

Virtually every new handset in our comparison tool supports 5G. Even if you don’t have a 5G contract yet, it’s wise to choose a handset that’s 5G-capable. That way, you’ll be prepared for the future and can enjoy more stable internet in busy areas.

BKR and device finance: Honest advice

For a number of years now, a mobile contract where you pay off the handset in instalments has been regarded as a loan. This is known as device finance.

Is the handset portion of your contract more than €250? If so, this will be registered with the BKR. This may affect the maximum mortgage you can get. Do you want to avoid this?

  1. Choose a cheaper handset (under €250).
  2. Pay part of the handset cost up front (the one-off additional payment), so that the loan amount remains below €250. Our comparison tool shows you exactly how to set this up.

Why 250,000+ people compare here

We’re not a provider; we’re a price comparison site. That means we have just one priority: to show you the very lowest price. We gather offers from all shops and all providers (KPN, Odido and Vodafone).

100% independent

We do not favour any particular provider or online shop. The cheapest option is at the top. Full stop.

Real-time updates

Prices can change by the hour. We update continuously, so you’ll never click on a ‘dead’ deal.

Expert reviews

We test many phones ourselves. No sales pitches, just honest experiences regarding battery life and camera quality.

You’ll buy your next mobile on a contract with us rather than through other comparison sites because we update prices every hour, every day, and we don’t feature sponsored listings that earn us more but cost you more. Curious about our business model? Read more about it on our About page.

Step-by-step guide: Find the perfect match in 3 clicks

There’s no such thing as the ‘best’ mobile plan, but there is the best plan for you. Use this step-by-step guide to see the wood for the trees.

1. Choose your network (Coverage vs. Speed)

In the Netherlands, we have three main networks. Virtual network operators (such as Simyo or Ben) operate on top of these.

  • KPN network
Known for its excellent nationwide coverage and stability. (Providers: KPN, Simyo, Lebara).
  • Odido network
Often the fastest 5G connection and competitive unlimited data deals. (Providers: Odido, Ben, Simpel).
  • Vodafone network
Strong in the business market and good coverage in urban areas. (Providers: Vodafone, hollandsnieuwe).

2. Be realistic about your data usage

Don’t pay for nothing. Check your current usage in your provider’s app.

  • < 5 GB
For the Wi-Fi surfer. You send the odd text and check the news.
  • 10 GB – 20 GB
The average user. You stream music (Spotify) and watch the occasional video whilst on the move.
  • Unlimited
For the power user. You stream Netflix on the train, use your laptop as a hotspot and never want to check your data usage.

3. Take advantage of your customer benefits (Combi Deal or Kids)

This is the easiest way to save money. Do you already have home broadband from Ziggo, KPN or Odido?

  • Ziggo at home?
Check out Vodafone deals for double data and a discount.
  • KPN at home?
Choose KPN or Simyo for extra benefits.
  • Odido at home?
Combine with Odido mobile for the ‘Customer Benefit’.

As well as discounts for existing customers, there are sometimes also discounts for:

  • Discounts for young adults
Vodafone Young for adults aged 18 to 28
  • Benefits for children up to 12 years old
KPN Kids up to and including 12 years old
  • Benefits for children aged 12 to 17
KPN Teens for those aged up to 17

You can find these plans by selecting any phone in combination with a plan and ticking the ‘Kids benefit’ or ‘Young benefit’ box. Be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully first to check whether you’re eligible.

No surprises: Your bill broken down

When you take out a phone on a contract, your monthly charge consists of two parts. It’s important to understand this distinction:

  • Part 1: The Plan (sim-only part)
These are the costs for your call minutes, text messages and data. This amount is fixed.
  • Part 2: The handset instalment (the repayment)
This is the repayment for your phone. Once your contract expires (after 1 or 2 years), this part ends and you’ll only pay for your bundle.

Please note the one-off costs: In addition to the monthly fee, you’ll often pay a one-off activation fee (to the provider) and a statutory home copying levy (approximately €5.70). Sometimes providers also ask for a one-off additional payment for the handset in order to reduce the monthly fee.
