Samsung lists Galaxy A27 online ahead of schedule; announcement appears imminent

Samsung Czech Republic briefly listed the Galaxy A27 on its website. Altho the page is now offline, it appears that the entry-level device will be announced soon. This means that we already know the key specifications.

It is unknown exactly when Samsung will launch the Galaxy A27. Since even the official press materials are ready, an announcement seems imminent. Combined with previously leaked information, we now have a complete picture of this entry-level model.

We previously learnt that Samsung is also moving away from the notch at the top of the screen to house the selfie camera on the A2x series. The A27 will instead feature a circular cut-out for the 12-megapixel selfie camera.

Other key specifications of the Galaxy A27 are listed as follows:

Dimensions:162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8 millimetres (200 grammes)
Display:6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz
Cameras:50 MP main camera + 5 MP ultra-wide-angle
Selfie camera:12 MP selfie camera
Performance:Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
Memory:6+128GB or 8+256GB
Battery:5000 mAh + 25W fast charging
Software:Android 16 with One UI 8.5, 6 years of promised updates
Body4 colours, IP64 water-resistant

Thanks to its slightly modified design, particularly the punch hole for the selfie camera and the camera island on the back, the device looks much more modern and luxurious than its predecessor, the Galaxy A26. We also see similarities with the much more expensive Galaxy S26 series.

Those similarities end with the price. We have indeed seen prices from online stores that already have the device listed in their systems, but while they aren’t as high as those for the Galaxy S series, we still find them steep. For instance, we see an asking price of around €370 for the model with 128GB of storage. There is also a 256GB model on the way, which will cost €100 more.

That’s about €70 to €80 more than what the Galaxy A26 originally cost in stores. Whether these are the actual suggested retail prices remains to be seen, so we remain cautious.

In the meantime, we’re waiting for the official unveiling. This could happen on June 18 or 19, if we are to believe a few online stores that have already listed the device, but it could also be sooner or later. Stay tuned for more information and don’t miss a thing.
