Mega Leak: Renders Show Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Ultra), Flip 8, Watch 9, and Watch Ultra 2
AndroidHeadlines obtained press renders of the five Galaxy devices that Samsung will announce on July 22. The line-up includes three foldables — the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8 — as well as two smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2.
With the split of the Galaxy Fold 8 into a wider model and an Ultra model, it already promised to be a busy event with many product announcements. But besides foldables, smartwatches are also expected, and perhaps wireless earbuds as well.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Renders
We kick off with the Fold 8, which stands out because of its wide design. Where the Fold 7 had more of a book aspect ratio, the Fold 8 has that of a passport. This provides a widescreen view when unfolded, ideal for watching videos. The device is expected in black and purple, in addition to white.
On the back, we see two cameras, one fewer than the Fold 7 currently has. For those who absolutely need a third camera or prefer the same design, there is now the Fold 8 Ultra. We don't immediately see in the photos why this device is called Ultra, as the resemblance to last year is significant. Expect the device in three colours: white, grey, and purple.
Then there is the Flip 8 with its traditional clamshell design that folds open vertically. Here too, besides new colours, we see no optical differences from its predecessor. Expect the Flip 8 in Cream (white), Graphite (black/grey), and Pink (pink).
What is still missing from this list is an FE model. Samsung released this in 2025 alongside the Flip and Fold. The model was seen as a more affordable foldable but did not perform well with its starting price of €999 compared to the better Flip 7.
Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 Renders
AndroidHeadlines also managed to obtain renders of the upcoming smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2. The Watch 9 is expected in two sizes, 40 and 44mm, and in three colours: Cream (white), Graphite (black/grey), and green.

We expect the Watch Ultra 2 in grey and silver, and it comes in only one size: 47mm. Samsung is hardly tinkering with the design here either. For example, the squircle design of the Watch 8 is retained, and the Watch Ultra 2 doesn't have to count on major changes either.
Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked starts July 22 at 15:00 Dutch time and takes place in London this year. Besides the products mentioned here, there is a possibility that we will also hear about new earbuds. Whether Samsung has another One More Thing surprise in store remains to be seen.
