Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite

Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite product description

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite is an affordable 5G phone with high-resolution camera and a smooth screen. In other words, a phone with the specifications of today and with a price of the past.

64MP Quad Camera

How much would you charge for a phone with a fast and smooth 120Hz screen, a 64MP camera and 5G support? Whatever your answer, Xiaomi wants to be under that anyway. With a suggested retail price of 249 euros, the Mi 10T Lite looks like it can do the impossible. Putting all the coveted specifications into one affordable phone. Starting with the camera. A Quad Camera with 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera. The high 64MP resolution ensures razor-sharp images and you can also use it to zoom in without immediately noticing any loss of quality. With the depth camera, the 10T Lite distinguishes between foreground and background and you can add background blur. And with the macro camera, you can take sharp shots at close range - of flowers, for example, or the foam bubbles of your cappuccino.

Smooth screen is large and sharp

Nowadays, a quadruple camera system is not very special, not even in this price category. What it does is the screen of the Mi 10T Lite. It measures over 6.67 inches, has a sharp Full HD+ resolution and has a very fast 120 Hz refresh rate. Images are refreshed 120 times per second and because that is faster than the human eye can see, animations look extremely smooth. Not even some high-end flagships have a 120 Hz screen. You won't get scratches on the screen quickly because it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, both front and rear. The only drawback we can have on the screen is that it is not very bright; 450 nits. To still have a full day-light view outdoors, there is Sunlight Mode 3.0. This automatically adjusts the contrast so that the screen is easier to read.

Is there anything he doesn't have?

So the Mi 10T Lite has a versatile camera and a flagship display. What about the performance? This has been replaced by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. That's just one step in Qualcomm's high-end 8xx series. This chipset is even 20% more powerful than what Google has put in the Pixel 4a. And if it's good enough for Google, count on it being powerful enough for most. Moreover, it is a chipset that supports 5G. You don't have much use for that at the time of release, for example you don't have a range or 5G subscription yet. But suppose that this is the case in six months' time, then at least your phone will be able to handle it. We close with the battery. There are no savings on that either and it measures a good 4820 mAh. It can even be charged with 33 Watts. And then there are stereo speakers, Dual SIM support and USB-C. The list doesn't stop.
