Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold renders show thinner body and more compact camera island

AndroidHeadlines has published the first images of the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The publication is collaborating with @onleaks for this leak. @onleaks has a reputation for leaking accurate CAD drawings early.

There is, however, one point where the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold differs from the 10 Pro Fold and that is the camera module. The camera island, which is already quite bulky on the Pro Fold, looks a bit smaller on that of the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

A smaller camera module may indicate weight savings; the current Pixel 10 Pro Fold is heavier at 258 grammes than competitors such as the Fold 7 (215 grammes) and Magic V5 (222 grammes).

What @onleaks' CAD renders do not show is what the foldable looks like on the inside. For example, a previous bend test of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold by YouTube channel JerryRigEverything showed that a structural weak point near the antenna line and battery led to a critical failure during a bend test. Whether Google has strengthened the internal structure will be evident from new independent tests after launch.

For this to happen, Google must first officially announce the device. This will happen in August 2026 at the earliest. Given the launch cycle of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and 10 Pro Fold, an August 2026 unveiling is likely.

Specifications: Pixel 11 Pro Fold goes on diet

As mentioned, the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold looks very similar to its predecessor. For example, the design is virtually unchanged and the aspect ratio also appears the same. One significant difference is the thickness of the housing. Folded, the 11 Pro Fold measures 10.1 millimetres, while only 4.8 millimetres remains when unfolded. While that is not as thin as the Samsung Fold 7 at 8.9 and 4.2 millimetres respectively, it is considerably thinner than the 10 Pro Fold which measures 10.8 and 5.2 millimetres.

Finally, it remains to be seen whether we are looking at the final design here or whether Google is making last-minute changes here and there. That will be revealed when the device is officially announced, something that, as mentioned, is likely to happen in August. In addition to a new Fold, the other Pixel 11 models will also be presented during that Made By Google event.
