Sometimes you want the best screen, sometimes you want the best camera. And sometimes you just want the very cheapest phone available. As a stopgap, or when you just want to make calls. We get that. And that’s why you’ll find phones here sorted by price – the lowest price, that is.

Here you’ll find phones starting from a few tens, up to a bit more. You can simply use them to make calls, stay in touch and send the odd text now and then. If price is your top priority, then this is the place to start your search.

Fancy something a bit more?

Phones that you can only use to make calls are also known as dumbphones. They’re the counterpart to the smartphone, which can do so much more. A special sub-category of dumbphones is senior phones. These feature
larger buttons, speed dials for favourite contacts and sometimes an emergency button.

Slightly more advanced are feature phones. These can do a little more and include features such as a calendar, perhaps a few games and sometimes a radio. A few even come with a camera.

If it absolutely has to be a smartphone, but price is still the most important factor, then a Low-end smartphone is recommended. These run a full-fledged operating system, usually Android, can handle apps and feature things like a video camera.
